Overview

Empuls offers three homepage layout options to help organisations personalise the employee experience based on their communication and engagement priorities. Each layout features the same widgets but arranges them differently to meet various needs, whether it's fostering peer recognition, streamlining top-down communication, or balancing both.

Choosing Homepage Layout

Step 1: Go to Admin Dashboard by clicking on Reports and Admin as shown below.

Step 2: Navigate to Platform Settings > Homepage editor.

Step 3: Preview the three layouts. Once you have decided, click "Select" under the chosen layout. Once done, click Save and Publish.

Layout 1: Current Feed (Default)

Best for: A balanced experience combining recognition, updates, and employee engagement tools.

Widget Flow:

  1. Banner – Display your organizations customized banner.

  2. Spotlight – Highlight important announcements.

  3. Feed – A dynamic stream of real-time recognitions, social interactions and company news.

  4. Points – Show the user’s current reward point balance.

  5. Recommendations – Suggested people to recognize or actions to take.

  6. Surveys – Pulse surveys or feedback requests.

  7. Celebrations – Upcoming birthdays, new joiners and work anniversaries.

  8. Leaderboard – Top leaderboard winners.

  9. High Priority Actions – Tasks or actions needing user attention.

Layout 2: Communication-First

  1. Banner – Display your organization’s customized banner.

  2. Spotlight – Highlight important announcements.

  3. Feed – A dynamic stream of real-time recognitions, social interactions and company news.

  4. Surveys – Pulse surveys or feedback requests.

  5. High Priority Actions – Tasks or actions needing user attention.

  6. Celebrations – Upcoming birthdays, new joiners and work anniversaries.

  7. Points – Show the user’s current reward point balance.

  8. Leaderboard – Top leaderboard winners.

  9. Recommendations – Suggested people to recognize or actions to take.

Layout 3: Goal & Recognition Focused

Best for: Organizations that want to spotlight achievements and encourage continuous engagement.

Widgets in order:

  1. Banner – Display your organization’s customized banner.

  2. Spotlight – Highlight important announcements.

  3. Points – Show the user’s current reward point balance.

  4. Recommendations – Suggested people to recognize or actions to take.
