The Wishboard is a digital celebration board recognising birthdays, anniversaries, new joiners, and service awards. Navigate to it via Home > Celebration tab.
Before you begin
You need an active Empuls account. Wishboard is available to all employees and displays occasions automatically.
Different types of Wishboards
Birthday
Double the joy of celebrating a birthday with personalised greetings from coworkers.
New Joinee
Collate best wishes for new employees and welcome them to the team.
Work anniversary / Service Awards
Collate wishes for employees on their work anniversary and service milestones.
Leaving a wish or message on Wishboard
Step 1: To send wishes to colleagues, navigate to Home and view all the events under the celebrations card on the right.
The social feed will also display today's birthdays, new joiners, and work anniversaries.
It's easy to wish a colleague a happy birthday—simply select their name, choose the "Wish" option, and add your message.
You can view all present, past, and upcoming celebrations by navigating to Home > Celebration tab.
In this section, you can:
Select between Past, Today’s, or Upcoming celebrations
Filter by Birthdays, Work Anniversaries, or New Joiners
Step 2: Click ‘Wish’ next to the person you’d like to send a greeting to
🔎 Users can switch the filter from 'My Circle' to 'Everything' to view all celebrations. 'My Circle' shows celebrations only for relevant users based on the feed settings configured by the Super Admin.
Step 3: Write a personal, warm message:
Reference something specific about the person or your shared experience
Show genuine appreciation for who they are or what they contribute
Keep it warm and authentic
You can also add a GIF from the gif library as shown below. Click on Search GIF.
Select the GIF of your choice and click Attach.
You can Change or Delete the GIF based on your requirements.
After adding the GIF, type your message in the text box provided.
Use the ‘Improve with AI’ feature to help you write more thoughtful and personalized messages. Enter some text to enable the 'Improve with AI' component and click on that.
Close the pop-up if you do not want to use the AI-generated wish message.
Refresh the suggestion to generate the new wish message.
Copy the AI-generated message, and you can paste the same in the input box.
The AI-generated message will appear below.
Click on the Replace button to replace the wish message with your text written manually. Click on Send wish to post on the wishboard.

You can also send a gift voucher to the recipient after you have published your wish on the wishboard.

Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Integrations menu > Click on GIPHY integration > Click on Start Setup and Save.
Troubleshooting
Can't find a celebration: Confirm that HR has the correct date on file.
Contact HR if the occasion should be visible but isn't.
Message won't post: Check that your message isn't blank and verify your internet connection.
Wrong date showing: This is a data issue. Contact HR to correct it.
Can't see past celebrations: Look for an archive or history option. Contact your administrator if it's not accessible.

Check the Wishboard regularly so you don't miss occasions.
Write authentic, personalised messages rather than generic ones.
Celebrate broadly — not just your immediate team.
Welcome every new joiner — a simple message goes a long way.
Respond to messages left on your own celebrations.
