View and Interact with Spotlight Announcements

Learn how to find, filter, and act on important announcements in the Spotlight section.

The Spotlight section is where your organisation surfaces the announcements that matter most — company events, referral programmes, policy updates, and more. Instead of missing critical information buried in emails or chats, everything your admin wants you to see is highlighted in one place.

Before You Begin

  • You'll need an active account to access the Spotlight section.

  • Announcements are created and published by your administrators. If you don't see any, your admin may not have published any active announcements yet.

  • No special permissions are required to view Spotlight announcements.

What You'll See on the Spotlight Screen

Each announcement card includes:

  • A visual banner or image related to the announcement

  • A tag (e.g., "Refer") to categorise the announcement

  • A title and a short description

  • A View more details button to read the full announcement

A tag filter at the top of the page lets you sort and filter announcements by category.

Browse Announcements

Step 1: Navigate to the Socials > Spotlight section from your main menu.

Step 2: Scroll through the announcement cards to view all Active updates or Expired updates.

Filter Announcements by Tag

Step 1: Click the All tags dropdown at the top of the Spotlight page.

Step 2: Select a tag to filter announcements by a specific category or topic — such as events, referrals, or company news.

Read the Full Announcement

Step 1: Find the announcement you want to read.

Step 2: Click View more details to open the complete announcement, including any links, attachments, or additional context your admin has added.

Take Action on an Announcement

If an announcement includes a call to action — such as registering for an event, completing a survey, or accessing a resource — follow the instructions or links within the announcement detail view.
