Learn all about setting up and sending gifts on Empuls.

Celebrate professional and personal milestones with the power of rewards and greetings in Empuls. Automate reminders for birthdays and work anniversaries to ensure you never miss an opportunity to make someone feel special.

Transform holidays and festivals into memorable occasions by creating personalized gifts and wishes. You can further simplify distribution based on geography or departments as well.

Please Note:

  • If points are added to a gift, these points will be deducted from the gift owner's budget.

  • Go to the Admin Dashboard and navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts to manage all your gift settings.

Create a Gift

Step 1: Go to Admin Dashboard by clicking on Report & Admin as shown below.

Step 2: Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts and click Create Gift.

Step 3: Here you have three options:

3.1 Automate Gift: Set up once. Gifts go out automatically on the milestone date. Learn the step-by-step process by visiting the Automate Gifts article.

3.2 Schedule It: Pick a date in the future to send this gift. Select the option and click "Create".

Add the required details like Greeting Name, Description, Schedule the greetings and the points, add the message and finally select the recipients and schedule your gift.

3.3 Send Manually: Deliver the gift instantly - no waiting.

Select the Send manually option and click on "Create".

Follow the steps to Create a New event and sending it manually.

Step 4: Select from existing event templates or create your own. Our AI bot will automate editable email content for existing templates, while you can create custom emails for new gifting events.

Step 5: At the next step, configure the gift if required. You can either assign reward points, add a merchandise collection, or choose it to be non-monetary.

Step 6: To configure product-based gifts, select "Yes, add merchandise collection", and click on Select Collection.

6.1 Select a collection from the Collection(s) list or Create New Collection.

6.2 Select the country of your choice by clicking on the country name.

6.3 You can choose Gift Cards, Merchandise, or a mix of both to create your collection. You can filter options across 20+ categories, including Food, fashion, Lifestyle, Travel, Baby care, and more. Click on Add next to the product option you want to add to the collection.

6.4 Products added to the collection can be reviewed on the right. Once done, click Next.

6.5 Under the About this collection page, fill in the details like Name, Purpose, and Maximum spend. Once you've done this, click on Save. This will help you use the same collection for future use cases.

Step 7: This will take you to the Manage Gifts page. Click Continue.

Step 8: Finally, define who can send this gift and the stakeholders who will be informed of the process. Once you've done this, click Finish Setup.

Additional settings

The Manage Gift tab shows all the gift cards created - Manual, Scheduled and Automated. You can view, edit, delete or disable a gift.

Send gifts

Step 1: To send users gifts, navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Manual Gifts.

Step 2: Select the event for which you wish to click Send Gift.

Step 3: Enter email IDs manually, copy and paste them, or effortlessly upload a CSV file containing the user emails for those who will receive the gift.

Step 4: Review the gift summary, and if everything appears correct, click Send Gift to deliver the joy.

Please Note:

  • You can automate sending gifts for special days like birthdays, anniversaries, welcoming a new team member, or adding a new event from scratch.

Edit a Gift

  • Editing a Manual Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Manual Gifts. Click on "Edit" and make the necessary updates.

  • Editing a Scheduled Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Scheduled Gifts. Go to the gift you wish to edit, and click "Edit."

  • Editing an Automated Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Automated Gifts. Go to the gift you wish to edit, and click "Edit."

Delete a Gift

  • Deleting a Manual Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Manual Gifts. Click on the "delete" option using the three dots icon.

  • Deleting a Scheduled Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Scheduled Gifts. Click on the "delete" option using the three dots icon.

  • Deleting an Automated Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Automated Gifts. Click on the "delete" option using the three dots icon.

Viewing Report

  • View Report for a Scheduled Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Automated Gifts. Click on the "view report" option using the three dots icon.

  • Here you can view Automation Details and the Automation History of the particular Gift.

  • View Report for an Automated Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Automated Gifts. Click on the "view report" option using the three dots icon.

Disable a Gift

  • Disable a gift for Scheduled Gifts

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Schedule Gifts. Click on the "disable" option using the three dots icon.

  • Disable a gift for an Automated Gift

    • Navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts > Automated Gifts. Click on the "disable" option using the three dots icon.

What are gifting events in Empuls?

Gifting events are predefined occasions like birthdays, work anniversaries, holidays, or festivals where you can send personalized rewards or wishes to employees.

How do I create a new gifting event?

Go to the Admin Dashboard and navigate to Gifts > Manage Gifts and click โ€œAdd New Gifting Event.โ€ You can choose from existing templates or create a new one from scratch. You can assign reward points, add merchandise, or even send non-monetary greetings.

Can gifts be assigned with reward points?

Yes. You can attach reward points to a gift, which will be deducted from the gift owner's allocated budget.
