About This Integration

This integration automates the user account management processes in Empuls, based on the employee data available in HiBob. With this integration you can:

  • Add new employees to Empuls automatically, as soon as their HiBob account is created.

  • Edit existing employee data in Empuls, simply by updating their HiBob profile.

Once this integration is enabled, the data will sync between Empuls and your HiBob account once every 24 hours.

How to Set Up This Integration?

Please contact your HiBob account manager and request them to share the below client details, with respect to your HiBob account:

Follow the steps to set up the integration:

Step 1: Go to Admin Dashboard by clicking on "Reports and Settings" and navigate to "Integrations."

Step 2: Click on “Add HiBob”.

Step 3: Add the details to proceed.

  • HiBob service user id

  • HiBob service user token

Once done, click on "Test Connection & Proceed".

Step 4: Select Data Fields

Check the boxes corresponding to the data fields that require mapping. Once a field is selected, choose the appropriate value from the dropdown menu.

  • Conditional Formatting: Certain fields may trigger additional configuration options.

  • Example: If Date of Joining is selected and mapped to Work Start Date, a secondary dropdown will appear requiring the definition of the specific date format.

  • Once done, click on "Continue".

Step 5: Define filtering criteria to avoid account creation for external consultants.

  • Add the allow domains which will allow for creation of new accounts only for email id's of the mentioned domains

  • Add email id's of the users you wish to be ignored.

Once done, Click on "NEXT".

Step 6: In this step, you can choose between two data sync options:

  • Run Date Sync Once Now: Select this option to launch your Empuls account immediately. This will create accounts for all employees and send invites.

  • Enter the email addresses of any individuals who must be informed of the data synchronization activity. If multiple persons require notification, separate email addresses using the designated delimiter (e.g., comma or semicolon).

  • Schedule First Data Sync for Later: Select this option to schedule employee account creation to a later date and time. This will help you plan and execute employee account creation on Empuls to coincide with your internal launch announcements. Select the date and time of your choice using the calendar icon.

Once done, click on "Save and Finish".
